- Build Your Talent Pipeline

Join us in creating a workforce that reflects the vibrant diversity of our community by providing professional pathways for students who need them most. - Enhance Your Corporate Reputation
Be recognized as a leader in social impact and workforce development. Sponsorship includes visibility in high-profile events and in program materials. - Empower Your Team Through Mentorship
Give your employees the opportunity to mentor and inspire the next generation - boosting morale and professional development. - Make a Measurable Impact
Your sponsorship directly funds a student's internship experience, including training, mentorship, and a stipend.
Your Sponsorship Makes an Impact
By supporting the ULF program, sponsors play a vital role in expanding access to opportunity for talented students who may not otherwise have the same exposure to professional environments. This initiative is not just about equity—it’s about investing in the future of our industries by cultivating a broader, more resilient pipeline of emerging leaders. Your partnership helps unlock potential, foster innovation, and build a workforce that reflects the diverse perspectives needed to thrive in a global economy.

Sponsor Expectations
Full Internship Sponsorship
Sponsors provide the financial commitment necessary to cover the student’s total compensation for the duration of the program. This model ensures that all interns receive a consistent, competitive stipend that reflects the value of their work and allows them to focus entirely on their professional growth. By centralizing this funding, we maintain a high standard of talent and ensure equitable pay across the entire fellowship cohort.
Dedicated Professional Mentorship
Each firm is expected to appoint a primary supervisor or mentor to guide the intern. This role is the cornerstone of the fellowship, providing the student with a dedicated point of contact for regular engagement, skill development, and professional coaching.
Substantive Work & Integration
Sponsors are expected to treat interns as active members of the team by providing:
-
Meaningful Projects focused on real-world municipal finance tasks.
-
Industry Exposure: Inviting interns, when possible, to attend meetings and briefings to see how the industry operates firsthand.
-
Professional Immersion: Modeling office etiquette and standards to help students transition into a corporate environment.
